Diane graduated from Mount Marty College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Following her graduation, she worked for several years in an intensive care/coronary intensive care unit before returning to school to receive her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing and her Nurse Practitioner training at South Dakota State University. Diane is nationally credentialed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked with the Heart Doctors since 1999 and specializes in cardiology and works with vascular patients, including those with venous and lymphatic disease, and those with clotting disorders. She plays a role supervising the anticoagulation clinic at the Heart Doctors as well.
Diane and her husband, Alex, have 4 children. Much of their spare time is focused on the children’s activities including; year round soccer, track, basketball, volleyball, plays, and concerts for the younger children. Various college activities are the priority with their oldest daughter. Once the children are grown and flying solo, Diane and her husband hope to travel and pursue various other activities.
